Apparently,  the anti-war lefties are stickermaniacs.  The adhesive backed political protest shown below is all the rage.

Just so we're clear, this is not about rabid Bush hatred anymore.  Sentiments like these, expressed even facetiously are dangerous because the endorse the idea that there is no conflict between fundamentalist Islam and the West and perpetuate the myth that the clash of ideologies is an American invention.  The last thing we need to do is bury our heads in the sand.  We need a realistic understanding of the people who are determined to see us dead.  So, along those lines, I thought I'd post a link to a couple of quick reminders of what Islamofascism is about:   Victims of Allah

  1. Why do you think all antiwar people are lefties? IMHO - Sure there are Muslims who hate and have always hated America - but the threat they pose is = nil, zero, nothing. Hell will freeze over before Muslims take over the west. I can picture it now - a whole fleet of rubber rafts land on our shores filled with box cutter weilding Muslims- -- - I may lose sleep.
I'm sure you'll dispute it - but I could post links all day that show that Al-CIA-da funded, trained and supply the "terrorists" and use them to create the situations needed to give us an excuse to wage war and make billions for the warmongers.
Just like, for instance, the 1993 WTC bombing - where the FBI was caught red handed on tape supplying the terrorists (dupes) with the explosives they used. They INSTRUCTED on tape for them to blow up the building! This is a known fact that was reported at the time in the mainstream press(and conveniently forgotten about after 911) that shows perfectly how things really work. We use them to create the problem/people react with fear/warfare and loss of liberty is the solution.

  2. What was our agenda in Beslan, Dugg?

  3. I don't know too much about Beslan, Cate. I don't pretend to know the reason for everything. Maybe some acts aren't orchestrated - but it's clear that many are.

  4. Check it out - when I got back home I did a web search on Beslan Conspiracy for haha's - the first thing I found was something saying the Russian military helped the terrorist seize the school. Here ya go -

Russian officers 'helped in plot to seize Beslan school'

Listen, governments commit acts of terrorism against their own people to justify repression and FASCISM! It happened here during the "troubles" in Ireland, it happened in Russia and you bet your ass it happened on 9/11. The REAL terrorists are those arrogant wankers in suits sitting in their ivory towers and looking down at the rest of us.

Beslan's increasingly restless residents were told yesterday that high-ranking Russian military officers who "were still at their posts" were suspected of helping Chechen militants seize the town's school last September.

Two men holding a rank "higher than a major and a colonel" were said to be involved in the plot and had apparently deliberately not fulfilled the functions for which they are paid, presumably in exchange for some kind of bribe.

The revelation, disclosed by the parliamentary commission investigating the atrocity, appeared to shatter the illusion that the tragedy was the isolated work of a small band of Chechen separatists.

It is likely to enrage the victims' mothers who are becoming increasingly vociferous in their demands that the president of North Ossetia, the republic where Beslan is located, should resign. Last week they blocked Beslan's main highway for three days to press their demands and are threatening to take further "illegal" action if Alexander Dzasokhov, whom they accuse of failing to protect their children, does not step down.

Alexander Torshin, chairman of the parliamentary commission looking into the bloodbath, said yesterday that "a terrorist act of such a scale would have been impossible to commit without accomplices."

  5. Dugg,
You are making a huge leap from two guys to the entire Russian government. But I respect you for trying.

The article implies these men were motivated by a bribe - easy to understand since the Russian government has been unable to pay its military for some time.

That kind of bribery is SOP in the third world - I've lived there. Hardly a conspiracy, though I'm sure Alex Jones would back your play if you wanted to link this to the GWOT ;-)

  8. There are plenty of people who aren't "lefties" , radical or otherwise, who don't support war.
Like I said, Cate, I don't know much about that one - but I did find it interesting that it took 10 seconds of looking into it to see that the "official" story is bogus.

  9. Or did it take ten minutes to come to that particular conclusion?

  10. Like I said - I don't know much about that one - why don't we argue about the FBI attack on the WTC in 1993?
