Bloghi's Moussaoui Makes Headlines
In a twisted version of "local boy makes good", a blogger from our very own blog service, bloghi, is quickly gaining notoriety across the internet. Lover of Angels, apparently known to some as Dr. Julio C. Pino of Kent State University has attracted the gaze of anti-terrorist activists. While LOA hasn't shown anything but reasonable deference in his comments on this blog, (much obliged, Dr.) he has definitely used his own blog, global-war, as a stump for pro-islamofascism. His anti-American writings have many readers incensed and determined to see him removed from his post as a professor at a public university in Ohio. For a look at the petition making its way around the country, click here.
As an Army wife myself, I admit to being particularly disturbed by LOA's calls for the death of American troops. In one post, he prays for a hurricane of fire "to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their infidel dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire"
His poetry includes descriptions of the sailors who were bombed on the USS Cole. "The heads, arms, legs and other limbs of the bodies of the infidels flew like dust particles into outer space."
And if that doesn't give enough cause for alarm, he republishes previously released terror manual excerpts in his post, "How can I train myself for Jihad?"

Pina has his towel on too tight, it has cut the blood flow to his pea sized brain, therefore he talks out of his ass! Pina, if you read this: Eat more Pork, your wasting good air so stop breathing!

Of course, Pino's critics have neglected to show any evidence or proof linking Pino to ownership of the Global War blog. Show me some proof of his connection to the ownership of this site, as well as why he does not deserve the right to free speech?

Who are you that you think I need to show you proof?

Right around the time you posted your comment, for example, someonone logged on from San Diego, California and I have their IP address. I know exactly what kind of internet connection they use and even the settings of the monitor.
That may or may not be you. I can make an educated guess but only a guess. When a registered bloghi user comments on the blog of another registered bloghi user - well, now that's a different story. Instead of a relatively anonymous by line like "Janine", I get a direct link to the email of my fellow blogger. And if he or she is using an email account that isn't anonymous, then you know who they are. Get it?
So Janine. If this is you, I'd suggest you update your operating system - it is 2007 for heaven's sake. (I hid the numbers because I don't think posting the IP address is necessary to make the point.)

Let pino stew, have sleepless nights, perhaps think he has weaseled out of trouble again and then BOOM.
Poor pino...NOT

Pino's comments included implying that he knew when the next martyrdom action would occur
Do you think he should have been ignored? What would you think of us had we known something about his comments and not done anything? You would have ripped us a new one and there would have been no complaint of freedom of speech.
At one point he posted what ulitmately turned out to be one of the 19 hijackers last will and testament. Should we have ignored this given the fact that he had already suggested he knew when something else could occur?
His comments included his email address at KSU...again seeming to use the resources at KSU to post his hate.
Our beef with Pino was about what appears to be his use of university resources to run his blog. He's getting paid by the taxpayers of Ohio and advocating and mocking the deaths of their children.
If you want to defend this man I suggest iyou think twice.
